My Why

Founded by a survivor and built for those overlooked.  I didn’t set out to start a business; I set out to survive. I’m a Black woman, a single mother, and a survivor who has spent years navigating systems that were not made to serve people like me. When no one opened the door, I built my own. When I could not find a safe space, I created one. When the road got lonely, I became a bridge.
Rooted Impact Consulting LLC was born from that journey, not just to help institutions “check boxes,” but to help them truly transform.

We move with integrity. We bridge the gap between power and people, culture and policy, pain and possibility.

Through storytelling that honors truth, developing inclusive cultures where belonging can thrive, and implementing strategies that strengthen brands and communities, we dismantle barriers and plant seeds for lasting change.

Whether guiding school districts, grassroots coalitions, or large nonprofits, I lead with lived experience and a deep understanding of what it feels like to be left out of the conversation. My commitment is simple: the communities I serve will never feel that again. Rooted Impact exists for anyone who believes equity is not an afterthought; it’s where we begin.
